Time to participate, once again, in Illustration Friday. Gotta get those creative juices flowin'.

For this entry I decided to have it pertain to photography. It's a dilemma I face sometimes. I find that my vision gets blurred when I get so caught up in what I want others to see in my photos. I catch myself and refocus. I make sure that what I photograph is what's emotionally moving to me. Whether it be funny, serious or nostaligic, etc... it's gotta matter to me first.

So the lesson here is FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS. Now—if could just FOCUS on the other things going on in my life, it'd be an improvement ;)

1. I'm doing a handmade sketchbook GIVEAWAY soon. Visit again or follow my blog so you don't miss it :)

2. I also added a fun slideshow—just for kicks— in my sidebar that you can participate in called "MugShots". Just email me your "MugShots" and you can join in the fun too!

  1. perfect for the theme! thanks for your comment on mine!

  2. I know what you mean - I think the whole point of doing things like your photography is that it is important to you and means something to you. That way the people looking at your photos will know they come from a true place. Love your sketchbooks, by the way and I must get round to a mug shot!

  3. haha this is great!! I don't know how you do the blurry letters , but they are cool!

  4. hi, thanks for visiting my blog! i like your sketchbook designs!

  5. Very fun post for blur! My eyes are twitching now! You're's hard to focus sometimes...I must constantly remind myself too. Take care!!

  6. what a fun post, this is so very very blurry, love the colors.
Yes I really really must focus too, I can get side tracked so easily!
