Yorkshire Cowl in Black

Links to all the free patterns and how-to's are in my "Nervous Knitter" flicker link in the right side bar of my blog.

So I have this addiction to knitting and crocheting now-a-days. I've completed a few wearable items that I thought I'd share on my blog :) I've only started to knit 2 months ago and taught myself how to crochet last month. It takes some time to teach yourself but if you're determined to learn, you'll get it quick and you'll enjoy it like I did. Above is an image of a crochet project I completed just a week ago. Here are the materials I used.

Yarn:
Alpine Wool Lion Brand Yarn in Black Pepper

Crochet Hook:
P-15 (11.5 mm)

I deviated from the pattern a little bit and used a wool yarn (not as chunky or flexible) but started with 45 chains instead of 37 to be sure it would still fit over my head when I completed it. I hate measuring so there was a lot of wrapping around my head and neck action during the process :) I recommend you follow the pattern and yarn suggestions, as-is, to be sure it'll be useful for you at the end :D It was easy and quick to make.

C'mon, knit with me ;)

  1. Teaching yourself is tough sometimes, I tend to prefer classes so I can ask questions. You've definitely got the the patience and the passion. Keep it up!
