A Merry Little Christmas

I love how simple our Christmas was this year. Just a very small group of family came over for an intimate evening of food, games and gifts. One of my very few favorite Christmas' :)

We were able to get some new ornaments for our tree this year also and thought I'd share. The blue bird had long feathers which I thought were really pretty:


a Virginia character from "Yes, Virginia", a classic Christmas story about a girl who's belief in Christmas is challenged by a school bully:

So maybe my next post will be about all the things I wished for and all the things I actually got :D It's just funny to share some of the crazy gifts you get for Christmas.
